The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for painting, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality. This position requires a strong understanding of sanding, finishing, spraying, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must have experience with finishing mill work. We offer the following employee benefits: Health/Dental/Vision insurance (after 90 days) and Vacation/Holiday Pay (after 1 year). Starting salary can be negotiated. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary. Ability to spray stain and spray paint. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of experience in paint prep, sanding, and finishing on millwork. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during the workday
