Overview We are seeking a dedicated Residential Cabinet Finisher to join our team and help bring our custom cabinetry to life. This role offers an energetic environment where precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality standards are essential. As a Cabinet Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes that enhance the durability and aesthetic appeal of our cabinetry, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of craftsmanship. Responsibilities Prepare cabinet surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal coating adhesion Apply finishes using conventional spraying techniques, airless paint spraying, or hand tools to achieve smooth, even coatings Interpret production documents and specifications to match color and finish requirements accurately Operate coating spray guns, and other finishing tools with precision and safety adherence Conduct quality inspections using visual color comparison and measurement instruments to ensure finish consistency Handle materials carefully during finishing processes and adhere strictly to safety protocols including PPE use such as respirators and respiratory protection Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials and cleaning tools regularly Skills Experience with construction painting surface preparation is highly desirable Knowledge of coating application techniques including spray guns and airless paint spraying Ability to interpret manufacturing instructions and production documents accurately Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and precision measuring instruments Familiarity with warehouse operations, materials handling, and the use of forklifts is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols related to PPE use, respirator maintenance, and respiratory protection measures Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary during finishing tasks Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence in residential cabinetry!
