Full-Time PrideStaff Atlanta South is seeking an experienced and dependable Fabrication Associate - Brake Press Operator for an established manufacturing and metal fabrication company in the South Metro Atlanta area. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on manufacturing experience who is comfortable operating fabrication equipment, reading measurements, and producing quality parts in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and production specifications . Measure materials and finished parts using tools such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other measuring instruments. Select appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments based on material type, thickness, and job requirements. Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet required dimensions and quality standards. Load, position, and remove materials safely throughout the fabrication process. Identify equipment or product quality issues and communicate concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain accurate production counts and documentation as required. Perform routine equipment inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of required PPE. Assist with other fabrication, production, and warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience strongly preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment. Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic measurements and dimensions. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or fabrication drawings preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a production team. Dependable attendance and ability to work assigned schedule. Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, move, and handle materials as required by the position.
