Powder Coater- Maisy Railing

Duties:

• Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
• Operate powder coating equipment to apply coatings to parts
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure proper coating thickness and coverage
• Inspect finished parts for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Skills:

• Mechanical knowledge to understand how the powder coating equipment operates
• Proficiency with hand tools for cleaning, sanding, and masking tasks
• Experience operating a forklift to move parts in the workspace
• Ability to machine and fabricate parts as needed
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency
• Knowledge of power tools for equipment maintenance and repair
• Basic welding skills for minor repairs or modifications
• Experience working in a warehouse environment with inventory management systems
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate coating thickness
