Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to custom cabinetry and wood products, ensuring they meet strict quality standards and aesthetic expectations. Your expertise will help bring our clients' visions to life through precise finishing techniques, surface preparation, and coating application. Responsibilities Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, filling, and cleaning to ensure optimal adhesion of finishes. Apply paint, stain, lacquer, or powder coating using conventional spray guns, airless paint sprayers, or powder coating equipment with precision and consistency. Interpret production documents such as work orders, blueprints, and specifications to accurately complete finishing tasks. Operate hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and coating spray guns safely and effectively during surface preparation and finishing processes. Adhere strictly to safety protocols including PPE use such as respirators, respirator masks, and respiratory protection gear to maintain a safe working environment. Handle materials carefully in warehouse settings and during materials handling procedures to prevent damage or contamination. Conduct visual color comparisons and inspect finished products against quality standards in production to ensure flawless results. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment, including powder coating booths and spray stations, following industrial painting standards. Follow manufacturing procedures for construction painting surface preparation, coating application, and assembly finishing to meet project deadlines. Experience Proven experience in industrial painting, coating application (including airless paint spraying), or construction painting is highly desirable. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and spray guns in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Knowledge of quality standards in production environments related to finishing processes.
