Job Description

Job Summary:
MOX Cabinetry is seeking a highly experienced Cabinet Finisher to join our Finish team. This role is critical in bringing our cabinetry to life — from natural stains to complex multi-step finishes. You'll be responsible for delivering beautiful, durable, and consistent results that meet our high standards and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply stains, paints, glazes, toners, and clear topcoats using spray equipment and other tools Prepare cabinet components by sanding, cleaning, and scuffing surfaces with precision Mix and match colors, sheens, and chemicals to meet finish specs and customer samples Maintain consistency in color and quality across batch production and one-off custom runs Perform finish repairs, touch-ups, and blending as needed during production or after QC Keep your spray booth and surrounding area clean, safe, and organized Collaborate with the sanding, assembly, and quality control teams to keep production flowing Track material usage and communicate supply needs or potential finish challenges
Required Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of professional finishing experience in custom cabinetry, millwork, or furniture Proficiency with HVLP and conventional spray systems Strong working knowledge of stains, sealers, conversion varnishes, and multi-step finishing processes Familiarity with finish prep including whitewood sanding and sealer/primer scuffing Eye for color-matching and attention to the finest details Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement What You Bring to
