NSC Staffing has an immediate 1st shift Band Saw Blade Welder opportunity in Frankfort, IN! 1st shift opportunity $18-20/hour depending on experience Position Summary NSC Staffing is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Band Saw Blade Welder to manufacture and repair industrial band saw blades. This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring attention to detail, consistency, and pride in producing quality work. Experience with band saw blade welding is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right individual who has strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Primary Responsibilities Measure and cut band saw material to required specifications Prepare blade ends for welding Operate band saw blade welding and grinding equipment Weld, anneal, grind, and finish blade joints Inspect completed welds for alignment, strength, and overall quality Follow work orders and customer specifications accurately Identify defective material or welds before blades leave production Maintain organized raw material and finished blade inventory Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep the work area clean Package and prepare completed blades for customers Assist with other production responsibilities as needed Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools Comfortable operating manufacturing equipment Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to follow established processes consistently Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently after training Manufacturing, welding, machining, or industrial experience is a plus #INDLI
