Responsibilities:

• Surface Finishing:

  Utilize polishing wheels, belts, and specialized hand tools to buff and polish medical-grade metals (such as titanium and cobalt-chrome) to a mirror-like or specified matte finish.

• Precision Buffing:

  Remove burrs, scratches, and surface imperfections while maintaining the critical dimensional integrity of the part.

• Blueprint Adherence:

  Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure each part meets the required finish tolerances.

• Quality Inspection:

  Use precision measuring instruments and visual checks to verify that every finished piece complies with strict medical device standards.

• Machine Setup:

  Select and change appropriate abrasives and polishing compounds based on the material and required finish.

Compliance:

Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all safety and regulatory protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Industry Experience:

  Previous experience in medical device manufacturing or orthopedic polishing.

• Tool Knowledge:
