Job Description

Our team is growing quickly and proud of the fact that our custom-made devices continue to make a huge difference in the lives of medical professionals and their patients. Our employees are actively involved in the design, engineering and manufacture of technologically advanced medical devices that ensure that we meet our customer's quality specifications for each product we produce. Our facility located in Warsaw, IN is looking for a Polisher on a 3rd shift schedule. The Polisher is responsible for surface finishing in accordance with blueprint specifications and work instructions to meet customer requirements.
What You'll Do:
Operate polishing equipment Change wheels according to part specifications Check complete orders in Polishing area for paperwork accuracy, verify count and move to next location Follow urgent needs jobs through the finishing shop to guarantee delivery Runs production in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Maintain production quality to customer prints Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check-sheets and instructions Use basic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height stands, function gages to perform quality checks on parts as outlined by AQL and work instructions. Maintains and ensures accurate counts on completed parts and scrapped parts; completes production paperwork and makes required entries into company database Reports key job status to Departmental Supervisor Comply with all company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned.What You'll Need:
Ability to multi-task and prioritize Ability to read and use calipers, micrometers, height gauge, depth micrometers Read and interpret blueprints and work operation sheets to determine appropriate operation to be performed Good math and computer skills including knowledge of Workstation Driver Self-starter and ability to work in a fast paced environmentWhat You Won't Do:
