Full Job Description Finish Sprayer ROLE:

The role of a sprayer is spray material (sap, ngr, spray stain, wipe stain, sealer, etc) on all parts for the next process with the proper techniques and material to ensure a quality product. A sprayer on towline reports to the Towline Supervisor and offline reports to Package Finish Supervisor.

RESPOSIBILITY

The primary role of a sprayer is to ensure that all parts are prepared in good quality on time to our customer up to, including but not limiting to the following:

• Be on time in area ready to work at shift start time
• Be at work everyday
• Report any absence prior to shift start
• Schedule time off in accordance with employee handbook
• Ensure proper equipment is used and maintained
• Report any defects immediately to team lead and supervisor
• Ensure we are meeting the daily production schedule
• Verify color matches step panel and standard
• Follow proper spraying technique ensuring proper fan and spray pattern
• Apply the proper amount of wet mills for material being sprayed
• Use the proper gun for material being sprayed
• Ensure guns are cleaned and stored properly prior to lunch and end of day
• Ensure booth audit sheets are being filled out and turned in
• Replace booth filters as required and dispose of them properly
• Dispose of rags and chemicals in proper hazmat canisters
• Communicate any delays or roadblocks in meeting on time delivery.
• Work with others team members.
• When your work is complete help where needed.
• Check with Supervisor when work is complete.
• Perform proper cleanup each day of area.

EXPECTATIONS

The expectations of a Sprayer are to ensure all parts are delivered defect free, matching standards and on time to our customer. To know and understand the finish process, to coordinate and update the supervisor hourly throughout the day and to notify immediately if any issues arise. It is also expected to be in accordance with the company handbook on all rules and regulations.
