Friday Position Purpose:

The General Operator performs non-technical tasks for Bottling. These tasks can include, but are not limited to glass uncasing, hand corking, shrink-sleeving, case erecting, hang-tagging, palletizing, re-working, label writing, cardboard bailing and cleaning. Core Responsibilities Perform various tasks as described by the Bottling Supervisor or other Management personnel. Maintain a clean work area. Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP's). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements High school degree or equivalent education preferred. Able to follow directions. Able to work physically close to other employees. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Fast paced, warehouse and industrial environment. Exposure to hazardous materials such as alcohol and chemicals, loud noise, and moderate heat/cold. Essential physical requirements, such as frequent climbing, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching , crawling, reaching and lifting, occasionally above shoulders. Physical effort/lifting up to 50 pounds. Some overtime required. Able to stand and walk all day with minimal breaks. Able to lift, carry and pull 50 pounds or less. Able to kneel, squat, bend, and climb. Able to work around alcohol and other flammable liquids. Able to visually inspect products.
