Vermont Employer Powder Coater Springfield, MA Apply This job was posted by https://www.vermontjoblink.com : For more information, please see: https://www.vermontjoblink.com/jobs/1343807 Primary Responsibilities {#primary-responsibilities data-start="502" end="532"} Prepare stainless steel ductwork for coating (degreasing, cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface profiling as required) Inspect fabricated duct sections prior to coating to ensure welds, seams, and surfaces meet finish standards Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment Monitor and control coating thickness to meet manufacturer and project specifications Operate and monitor curing ovens, ensuring proper time and temperature cycles Perform quality checks for adhesion, coverage, color consistency, and finish integrity Safely move materials using carts, forklifts, or overhead hoists Maintain coating equipment, spray booths, and work areas in a clean and organized condition Follow all OSHA standards and shop safety protocols Coordinate with fabrication team to meet production schedules Required Qualifications {#required-qualifications data-start="1388" end="1417"} Experience in powder coating or industrial finishing (metal fabrication environment preferred) Knowledge of stainless steel surface preparation requirements Ability to read shop drawings and finish specifications Familiarity with electrostatic spray systems and curing ovens Understanding of coating thickness measurement tools (mil gauge) OSHA 10 minimum Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods Active Filters Powder Coater Springfield, MA Clear All Apply
