Job Description

Nesco Resource is looking for Assembly Workers for our long-term client in Auburn Hills, MI. 1st shift is 5:00 AM- 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The position requires you to assist in various activities such as assembly, inspection, and maintaining a clean workspace.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Keeps work station and the area around work station neat and orderly. Understands and follows all quality instructions, work instructions, and procedures. Accurately and legibly records information on quality and production-related paperwork. Understands and properly uses all safety devices and equipment at all times. Capable of working as part of a team and a commitment to support group decisions. Understands and follows the principles and procedures of the company's Quality Policy.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Assembles metal products, partially or entirely, working a bench or on the shop floor. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners. Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce a close fit between parts. Operates machine at production standard. Inspects parts. Sweeps floors, mop around machines, and cleans up immediate spills. Removes trash.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
