    6 am to 4 pm
  • Monday morning through Thursday afternoon
  • Friday for overtime
Third Shift:
8 pm to 6 am
  • Sunday night through Thursday morning
  • 5th day for overtime Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Metal Finisher to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing metal components to meet precise specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards. Your expertise will help transform raw metal parts into polished, functional products ready for assembly or final use. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of advanced fabrication tools and techniques, contributing directly to the production of top-tier metal products. Responsibilities Operate and maintain various finishing equipment such as grinders, polishers, and sanding machines to achieve smooth, clean surfaces on metal parts. Use hand tools and power tools to perform detailed finishing tasks, including deburring, polishing, and surface preparation. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate finishing processes aligned with design intent. Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and surface finishes meet standards. Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move heavy materials or finished products within the workspace. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues related to tooling or machining processes and suggest improvements for efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in metal finishing, machining, or fabrication within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications. Familiarity with quality inspection techniques using calipers, micrometers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision finishing standards. Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
