Full-Time Start or Grow Your Manufacturing Career Our client in Madison Heights, MI is looking for dependable and hardworking Powder Coat Technicians to join their manufacturing team. This is a hands-on production position where you will help prepare, coat, inspect, and finish metal parts. Previous powder coating experience is preferred but not required — candidates with general manufacturing, production, industrial painting, automotive finishing, or similar experience are encouraged to apply. Madison Heights, MI Responsibilities As a Powder Coat Technician, your responsibilities may include: Prepare metal parts for the powder coating process. Clean, mask, sand, and prep surfaces before coating. Load and unload metal parts throughout the production process. Operate powder coating equipment and spray booths. Apply powder coatings according to production and quality standards. Inspect finished parts for proper coverage, consistency, and overall quality. Identify defects and report quality concerns. Perform minor equipment adjustments and basic maintenance. Use hand tools and basic power tools as needed. Move and stage materials throughout the production area. Operate a forklift or other material-handling equipment if trained and certified. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Follow all company safety and quality procedures. Assist other team members to meet daily production goals. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Powder coating experience is a plus but not required. Industrial painting or automotive finishing experience is a plus. Comfortable using basic hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Basic math and measuring skills. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Reliable transportation is required. Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential. Apply Today!
