Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled mold Finisher/Polisher to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various fabrication processes and a keen eye for detail to ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards. As a Finisher, you will be responsible for finishing and polishing metal components, ensuring they are free from defects and ready for assembly or shipment. Skilled welding ability will set you apart from other applicants. Duties Operate polishing equipment and tools to achieve desired finishes on metal components. Operate various types of welding equipment and plasma cutting equipment as needed. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand the requirements of each project. Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Collaborate with team members in the assembly process, ensuring all parts fit together correctly. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques for various tasks related to polishing and finishing. Proven experience in manufacturing or machining environments Ideal candidate would have previous experience with a focus on polishing or finishing processes. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and tolerances. Experience with welding techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent quality inspection skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks. Experience operating forklifts or cranes is beneficial.
