POSITION SUMMARY
Using sandpaper or power sanders, ensure all parts are smooth without defect before being painted. If parts need to have paint touch-ups may also sand parts after the painting process to ensure a new coat of paint can adhere to the part.

Sand parts by hand and power-sander to remove any defects on parts before being painted Able to communicate with team members Contributes to continuous improvement activities in the department Use ERP system to assist in completed rework coordination Works to meet LSI quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED preferred Able to lift up to 50lbs Able to stand for the duration of shift This position description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. The target hourly range is $18.50 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.
