We're currently looking for a skilled Metal Finisher to join our growing team.

Hours:

6:00AM - 4:30

PM Monday-Thursday Key Responsibilities:

Perform stainless steel grinding and finishing to meet USDA and 3A sanitary standards Identify and properly use abrasive pads, discs, wheels, and belts required for different finishing tasks Use both manual hand-finishing techniques and mechanical equipment to achieve required surface finishes Follow established procedures and tooling specifications to meet customer quality expectations Inspect and ensure finished surfaces are free of defects and meet detailed tolerances Collaborate with welders and fabricators to ensure seamless transitions between welded and finished areas Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety guidelines

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a metal finisher or in a related role, preferably in stainless steel for food or dairy applications Working knowledge of finishing tools, abrasives, and techniques Ability to meet high standards for sanitary finish and cosmetic appearance Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to read and interpret blueprints or finishing specifications Team-oriented with good communication skills Why Choose AWI Manufacturing?
