Sandblaster Perry's Powder Coating Kansas City, MO Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16 - $22 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Moving Sandblasting Full Job Description Perry's Powder Coating is looking for a dependable, hardworking Sandblaster to join our shop. We are a busy powder coating and sandblasting shop working on everything from small metal parts and wheels to patio furniture, railings, frames, and larger commercial/industrial projects. This is a hands-on, physical position. We work at a steady pace and need someone who can get work done while still making sure parts are properly prepared for powder coating.

Responsibilities:

Operate sandblasting equipment to strip and prepare metal parts Remove paint, powder coating, rust, corrosion, and mill scale Make sure parts are completely and evenly blasted Load, unload, and move parts throughout the shop Inspect parts before and after blasting Maintain blast pots, hoses, nozzles, and equipment Keep the blasting area clean and organized Follow required safety procedures and wear proper PPE Help with general shop work when needed What we're looking for: Sandblasting or metal-working experience preferred Powder coating, fabrication, welding, or industrial shop experience is a plus Dependable and shows up when scheduled Able to work independently and stay productive Comfortable with physically demanding work, dust, noise, and heat Able to lift and move metal parts 50lbs + Takes pride in doing the job correctly

Schedule:

Approximately 20-40 hours per week , depending on workload. This is not an auto body position . Our work is primarily metal preparation for powder coating and industrial/commercial projects.

Pay:
