This role is responsible for preparing, finishing, and applying coatings to cabinetry to ensure a high-quality, durable, and visually appealing final product. The ideal candidate has experience with cabinet finishing techniques, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work. The Paint Finisher plays a key role in the final stage of cabinet production, ensuring all products meet Brock Cabinets' quality standards before delivery or installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cabinet surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and inspecting materials Apply paint, stain, lacquer, or other finishes to cabinetry using spray equipment or other finishing tools Ensure smooth, even coatings and consistent color across cabinet components Inspect finished products for quality, defects, or imperfections and perform touch-ups as needed Maintain finishing equipment, spray booths, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operation Follow production schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards Mix and match paint or stain colors as required for custom cabinet finishes Follow all safety procedures and proper handling guidelines for finishing materials Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure finished cabinets meet specifications Experience in cabinet finishing, wood finishing, or paint spraying preferred Familiarity with spray guns, finishing equipment, and finishing materials Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Ability to lift and move cabinet components as needed Reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow written and verbal instructions
