Job Description

Conestoga Wood Specialties, a leading manufacturer of custom wood components for the kitchen and bath industry, has immediate openings for a
BOOTH SPRAYER
in our
FINISHING
department. Job location is in Kenly, NC. Qualified individuals must have some experience in applying finish with a spray gun with attention to detail. This position applies sealer and/or topcoat finishes to various custom wooden cabinet components.
Candidate must be:
Organized and able to lay out material by work order for processing. Self-driven, quality focused, and possess strong problem-solving skills Able to read and accurately interpret material specifications and written instructions Capable of properly cleaning material to remove dust or debris to prepare the product for spraying. Able to apply sealer and/or topcoat using a paint spray gun to custom wooden cabinet component parts. Conscious of positioning the spray properly onto the product consistently to prevent flaws, bubbles or imperfections in the finish. Able to correct imperfections or roughen surfaces in the product. Understand and utilize in-process inspection of parts to ensure accuracy. Capable of simple equipment set-up, cleaning and preventive maintenance. Conscious of daily production requirements and ship on-time.
