Experienced Stone Fabricator & Installer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Stone Fabricator & Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw stone materials into beautiful, precise surfaces and expertly installing them in a variety of residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets the highest standards of quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Measure, cut, shape, and fabricate stone materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to meet project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation. Prepare surfaces by performing tasks such as caulking, trimming, plastering, or masonry work to ensure seamless integration of stone elements. Install fabricated stone on various surfaces including countertops, flooring, walls, facades, and custom features with precision. Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning large stone pieces during fabrication and installation processes. Conduct construction inspections to verify quality control standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with project managers, architects, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve technical issues efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience as a stone fabricator and installer with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and specialized fabrication machinery. Knowledge of construction management practices including site safety procedures and inspection protocols. Familiarity with related trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, drywall installation (including plastering), tile laying, concrete finishing, restoration work, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation, welding, and general remodeling is highly desirable. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into precise physical work. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting on-site challenges. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across multiple teams.
