Position will assist Finisher Manager with painting and staining customer's products to Heartland Pella's specifications.

General Job Description:

• Performs assigned duties to prepare, finish and reassemble products that require pre-finishing per customer orders.
• Principal Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
• Move product from the warehouse to the prefinish area.
• Unwrap products, remove and label accessories.
• Disassemble products and protect for finishing in the company's paint booths.
• Perform visual quality inspection for, but not limited to, missing parts, damage, glue or silicone squeeze out.
• Repair damaged product prior to finishing (ironing out dents, remove glue or silicone residue, light sanding, etc.)
• Apply stain, paint and topcoat in accordance with the process guidelines to achieve a quality appearance.
• Reassemble products for shipment.
• Clean work area and tools after each use.
• Comply with all safety procedures and attend monthly safety meetings.
• Timely attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirement:

Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Ability to use hand tools. Ability to work well with others. Ability to understand and carry out instructions. Ability to communicate with and work well with others.
