Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stone Polisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw stone materials into polished, finished products that meet precise specifications. Responsibilities Operate hand tools and power tools to shape, smooth, and polish stone surfaces according to shop sheet specifications and project requirements Use fabrication equipment and machinery, including grinders, polishers, and machining tools, to achieve desired finishes and dimensions Measure materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices; perform dimensional inspections to ensure precision Follow safety standards by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection and safety gear, at all times during operations Adhere to safety regulations and protocols during all phases of fabrication, polishing, and material handling processes Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal performance Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to power tools, machining processes, and materials handling Experience with fabrication techniques specific to stone finishing and polishing Ability to read shop sheets, technical drawings, or specifications accurately Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control assessments Familiarity with safety standards in manufacturing or construction settings; strict adherence to safety protocol requirements Skilled in using hand tools such as chisels, grinders, sanders, and polishing pads Excellent attention to detail for achieving precise dimensions and high-quality finishes Join us as a Stone Polisher if you're passionate about craftsmanship, committed to safety excellence, and eager to contribute your skills to creating stunning stone products.
