Sandblaster

We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our client's team in Binghamton, NY. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for sandblasting, surface preparation, and fabrication body work, including filling, sanding, and priming surfaces. You will also ensure efficiency and quality by working with production teams to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Remove dirt, paint, rust, and other materials from surfaces using sandblasting equipment. Perform filling, sanding, and priming of surfaces to prepare them for finishing. Inspect parts before and after processing to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects. Use computer systems to monitor job progress and track production timelines. Work closely with painters and other production team members to ensure a smooth workflow. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior sandblasting experience is a must. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Ability to stand, bend, twist, push, and lift throughout the shift.
