Day Shift, Monday-Friday Who We Are:

Opti Staffing is partnering with a local industrial metal finishing company that specializes in working with customer parts through various stages of preparation, repair, polishing, and finishing. We are looking for someone with hands-on metal finishing experience who also has a background in MIG and/or TIG welding. This is a hands-on position where attention to detail and quality workmanship are extremely important.

What You'll Do:

Prepare metal parts for finishing and plating processes Polish, grind, sand, and prep customer parts before and after plating Remove imperfections, scratches, and surface defects Perform metal finishing and surface preparation to achieve the required finish Complete welding repairs and build-up work using MIG and TIG Inspect parts throughout the finishing process to ensure quality Work with a variety of industrial metal components and customer parts Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Follow job specifications and maintain a consistent level of quality Perform other shop duties as needed to support production What's In It for

Have:

Previous metal finishing experience is required Experience with polishing, grinding, sanding, or other surface preparation Some hands-on MIG and/or TIG welding experience Comfortable working with hand and power tools Strong attention to detail Ability to work safely in a production/shop environment Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to work with different types and sizes of metal parts

Estacada Preferred:

Experience in a plating, chrome, fabrication, welding, machine shop, or industrial finishing environment Experience repairing or preparing parts before and after plating Strong welding/fabrication background Experience with grinders, buffers, sanders, and other finishing equipment Previous industrial manufacturing experience
