Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing, production, or quality control training is a plus. Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and production documentation. Experience Requirements 2 years of previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, injection molding, production, or quality inspection. Experience performing visual inspections and identifying product defects. Familiarity with hand tools, finishing processes, and quality standards is beneficial. Ability to maintain production rates while ensuring product quality and accuracy. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Frequent use of hands for trimming, sanding, polishing, and handling production parts. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining line speed. Ability to safely operate handheld tools and work around moving production equipment. Job Duties Trim, sand, flame, and finish injection molded parts in preparation for the paint process. Perform visual quality inspections according to work instructions and customer specifications. Load and unload parts according to production schedules and standard operating procedures. Identify defects and use handheld electrical tools to remove minor imperfections. Monitor product quality and ensure all parts meet customer requirements. Accurately record defects, scrap, rework, and production data. Complete traceability records and required production documentation. Follow rework and scrap procedures while maintaining established line speeds. Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S principles. Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and assist team members as needed.
