Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. The Powder Coater will be responsible for preparing metal parts, applying powder coatings using spray equipment, and operating curing ovens to ensure a high-quality finished product. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a production or fabrication environment and be committed to safety, quality, and efficiency. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting parts. Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment. Load and unload parts from curing ovens. Monitor coating thickness, finish quality, and overall appearance of completed products. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of powder coating equipment and work areas. Read and interpret work instructions, production schedules, and job specifications. Identify and correct coating defects as needed. Follow all company quality standards and safety procedures. Assist with general production and fabrication tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous powder coating experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment. Knowledge of powder coating equipment, application techniques, and curing processes. Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring instruments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with metal fabrication products. Experience in welding, fabrication, or industrial finishing environments. Forklift certification or material handling experience. Experience reading blueprints or production drawings. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery, ovens, and industrial equipment.
Pay Details:
