Duties Perform comprehensive floor cleaning tasks including scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle floor cleaning chemicals safely, following all environmental and safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, waxers, polishers, and extractors to achieve optimal results. Conduct floor refinishing activities like buffing, waxing, and polishing to restore and enhance surface appearance. Manage heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment with proper technique to ensure safety. Apply floor care treatments including waxing, sealing, and chemical agents to maintain or improve flooring quality. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests or concerns related to cleanliness or maintenance needs. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or environmental services with a focus on floor care. Knowledge of various floor cleaning chemicals and their appropriate applications. Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and waxers. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; training will be provided for specific equipment or procedures as needed.
