We're looking for a Metal Finisher to join our shop — someone who already has an eye for color and enjoys hands-on finish work. You'll apply stains, dyes, and patinas to decorative metal pieces to achieve custom colors and finishes on railings, gates, signage, and architectural metalwork. What You'll Do Prep decorative metal pieces for staining and finishing Mix and blend stains, dyes, and patina solutions to match custom color specs Apply finishes by brush, rag, spray, or other technique as the piece requires Inspect finished work for color consistency and quality Keep the finishing station organized and running smoothly What We're Looking For We're looking for candidates with hands-on experience in at least one of the following: Staining or finishing wood, furniture, or cabinetry Painting (auto body, sign painting, faux/decorative finishing, fine art, etc.) Metal fabrication, welding, or metalworking Working with patinas, dyes, or custom color-matching A portfolio or photos of finish/color work you're proud of — bring them to your interview! This is a skilled finish-work role, not general labor. We'll train you on our specific process, materials, and shop standards, but you should already be comfortable mixing colors, reading a finish, and working with your hands.
