Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dry Cleaner Presser to press and finish garments according to quality standards. The Presser will operate pressing equipment, inspect garments for stains or damage, and ensure clothing is properly finished, wrinkle-free, and ready for customers. Press, steam, and finish garments using commercial pressing equipment.
Follow garment care labels and proper pressing techniques for different fabrics.
Inspect clothing for stains, tears, missing buttons, and other damage before and after pressing.
Handle garments carefully to prevent burns, shine marks, shrinkage, or other damage.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Sort and prepare garments for pressing and final finishing.
Perform quality checks to ensure garments meet company standards.
Operate steamers, presses, irons, and other garment-finishing equipment safely.
Report damaged garments or equipment problems to the supervisor.
Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.
Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Assist with other dry-cleaning and garment-finishing duties as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dry cleaning, garment pressing, laundry, or a related position preferred.
Knowledge of fabrics and garment-care procedures is a plus.
