This is a physical, hands-on position with significant overtime. Candidates must have previous experience working with handheld grinders or in a fabrication, welding, metal, pipe, or industrial shop environment . Responsibilities Operate handheld grinders to grind, smooth, clean, and prepare metal Grind welds, edges, and metal surfaces Remove burrs, slag, rust, and excess material Assist welders and fabricators with daily production Prepare and position materials for welding and fabrication Handle and move metal materials, parts, and tools Perform general welder helper and shop helper duties Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all shop and safety procedures Work extended hours and weekends as production requires Requirements Handheld grinder experience strongly preferred Fabrication, welding shop, metal, pipe, or industrial experience preferred Bilingual English & Spanish

REQUIRED

Comfortable using hand and power tools Able to perform physical labor throughout the shift Able to work in an industrial fabrication environment Must be dependable and have strong attendance Must have reliable transportation Must be available to start at 6:00 AM Must be available to work 6-7 days per week Must be willing to work significant overtime
