Paint
  • Wash Electro-Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Paint
  • Wash based at our facility in Bristol, Virginia. The Paint
  • Wash supports the manufacturing operations by preparing and finishing metal components through grinding, welding, and dressing, while adhering to detailed work instructions and customer specifications.
This role will work with hand and air tools, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and collaborating effectively with team members to ensure quality and efficiency. How You will Make an
Impact:
Comprehend and follow shop procedures, standard practice instructions, prints, diagrams and other written and verbal instructions noting special customer requirements. Manipulate apparatus and components to required workstations (such as the wash and paint booths), equipment, stations and positions. Able to use hand tools and air tools. Grind, weld, and dress metal defects on unit surface. Comprehend and observe all safety and quality standards including wearing personal protective equipment and participate in Kaizen and Area Focus Teams. Using manual tools, occasional solvents, and cleaning supplies to maintain a clean and orderly work area. To maintain regular and timely attendance, to work in an efficient manner, and to work overtime when required, all sufficiently to support the continuous manufacturing process Work in close concert with, and get along with, co-workers.
What You Bring:
High school or GED equivalent with a relevant Tech school or appropriate combination of education, training, skills, and experience. Previous experience with powered hand tools required. The Human Resource Administrator can determine whether education and training are equivalent based on the associate's experience.
