We produce a variety of interior parts, e.g. table mechanisms, IFE deployment systems, aircraft seating parts, and other kinematics for the commercial aircraft sector as well as the private and business jet industry. The Finisher plays an important role in customer satisfaction by producing high quality parts on time and to the customer requirements. We strongly believe that our people are our main assets. The main responsibilities will consist of:
  • Prepping, sanding, and applying mechanical finishes on machined parts.
  • Working with engineers to ensure manufacturability.
  • Read, understand, and following engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions and procedures to accurately finish parts.
  • Identifying product defects and reporting defects.
  • Maintaining cycle times and reporting any excessive cycle times.

Requirements:
  • Ability to read and to interpret aircraft drawings, engineering documents, and specifications.
  • Ability to use hand tools such as orbital sanders, files, belt sanders, etc.
  • Skilled in the identification and use of job specific tools.
  • Knowledge of applying mechanical finishes.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
