Job Description

A well-known people-first reputable Agronomy Company in the area is actively interviewing and looking to add an Experienced PCA CCA Sales Agronomist to their team. A competitive compensation and benefits package will be offered to the right individual. Candidates with a current book of business or strong grower and farmer relationships will be prioritised.
Sales Agronomist Responsibilities:
Make seed, fertilizer and chemical recommendations to growers. Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities. Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long-term repeat business. Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions. Forecast supply requirements on a monthly and annual basis. Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently. Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology, including seed, precision farming technology, finance and marketing tools.
Sales Agronomist Key Qualifications:
3+ years of agronomy related experience preferred A bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy/Agriculture or related field Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team PCA licensed and CCA Certified Must have a valid driver's license and currently reside in the region.
