Market Equipment Repair Inc. is seeking customer oriented, reliable, problem solving Field Service Technicians to join our team . As a field service technician you will perform repair and preventative maintenance of hot side commercial food equipment by diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, removing and installing parts, assembling and disassembling components, and testing/adjusting machines. Current openings throughout all Southern California counties.

Requirements:

Experience in repair and maintenance, possessing mechanical and electrical aptitude required. Must be willing to work overtime and be available for on-call rotation. Must have effective and professional verbal and written communication skills. Must follow escalation procedures to resolve problems and maintain timely communications with company service manager and customer management in the field. Ability to learn the internal workings and repair approaches to repairing food equipment. Ability to work in a fast paced environment efficiently and reliably with minimal supervision. Ability to bend, squat, move heavy equipment and lift 70 pounds. A clean work record, driving record and valid California driver's license required.

Job Functions:

Respond to service calls promptly, diagnose problems and perform maintenance of equipment at a customer site as dispatched. Promote customer satisfaction by providing attention to customer requirements. Manage parts inventory, coordinate shipment of parts for repair and replenish and maintain inventory of common parts, test equipment and tools on your service vehicle. Document service and installation actions by completing records within field service software applications on smartphone. Have regular and reliable attendance.
