Experience with the Food Service Equipment Industry Jobtracks Inc. is currently seeking an experienced, qualified, reputable Commercial Food Equipment Technician with experience in troubleshooting and repairing gas commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment. The Field Service Technician reports to our Dynamic Commercial Service Customer Service Manager. Qualifications for

Commercial Food Equipment Technician:

Commercial Food Equipment Technician must have 5-8 years of experience servicing gas cooking equipment and 5-8 years of relevant food service equipment industry experience; gas rotisserie experience is an asset. CFESA certification in gas and electrical or equivalent experience is strongly preferred. Strong hands-on mechanical skills with the ability to use hand tools and perform equipment testing and repairs. Commercial Food Equipment Technician should have the ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, squatting, reaching, bending, lifting to 50 lbs., and working on ladders for extended periods. Must provide personal hand tools; specialized testing and repair equipment will be provided. Reliable, organized, customer-focused, and professional, with the ability to represent the company as a brand ambassador in the field. Commercial Food Equipment Technician should have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal; Spanish is a strong asset. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Valid passport and ability to travel to Canada for training and business meetings. Commercial Food Equipment Technician should be willing to complete required pre-employment background screening, including criminal, financial/credit, and driving checks, upon a conditional offer.

Commercial Food Equipment Technician:

Commercial Food Equipment Technician should troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial food service equipment at customer locations. Perform on-site equipment installations, testing, and start-up training for customers. Commercial Food Equipment Technician must educate customers on proper equipment operation and preventive maintenance procedures. Complete and submit required documentation accurately and on time, including parts orders, truck inventory, expense reports, and invoices. Commercial Food Equipment Technician should maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and ensure accurate parts, tools, and equipment inventory. Coordinate with the manufacturer's parts and service departments for parts ordering, repairs, and follow-up service calls. Commercial Food Equipment Technician must provide professional and responsive customer service while representing the company in the field. Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every three weeks, including evenings and weekends. Commercial Food Equipment Technician must work overtime as needed to support customer service and emergency repair requirements.
