Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Agricultural Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of farm machinery, construction equipment, and industrial machinery. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' equipment operates efficiently and reliably, supporting their agricultural and construction needs. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair various farm machinery, construction equipment, and industrial machinery using schematics and technical manuals. Perform preventive maintenance on tractors, excavators, harvesters, forklifts, heavy-duty trucks, and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct electrical diagnostics, hydraulic repairs, transmission servicing, brake repairs, tire services, welding, and fabrication tasks as needed. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during maintenance or repair procedures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and welding techniques to assemble or repair equipment components. Maintain detailed service records including inspection reports, repair logs, and maintenance schedules for each piece of equipment serviced. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the work performed. Skills Proven dealership experience with farm machinery or construction equipment is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, air brakes, and electrical systems. Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues accurately. Experience with fabrication techniques including welding and metalwork. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts safely in various environments. Familiarity with OEM parts and service procedures for Caterpillar, Case, John Deere or similar brands. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with hands-on experience in diagnostics and heavy equipment maintenance. Capable of performing heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs or installations. $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
