We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Greenhouse Associate to support daily greenhouse operations. This role involves hands-on plant care, maintaining plant health, organizing inventory, and assisting customers with plant selections and sales. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has a passion for plants, and provides excellent customer service. Pay for thisRole:
$15.16 - $16.50 per hour. Water plants, trees, and shrubs according to established schedules. Monitor plant health and identify signs of pests, disease, or nutrient deficiencies. Prune, trim, deadhead, and transplant plants as needed. Apply fertilizers and other plant treatments under supervision. Maintain clean and organized growing areas. Organize and rotate plant inventory to ensure healthy growth and attractive displays. Label plants accurately with pricing and care information. Receive, unload, and stock incoming plant shipments. Assist with seasonal resets and merchandising displays. Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance with plant selection and care. Answer questions regarding plant varieties, watering schedules, and maintenance. Support sales transactions and promote current specials. Maintain a clean and welcoming retail environment Interest in horticulture, gardening, or plant care preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time. Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Friendly, customer-focused attitude. Prior retail or greenhouse experience is a plus but bot required.
