The role will be responsible for coordinating product evaluations and consumer preference testing, ensuring that product quality meets Southeastern Grocers' quality specifications and aligns with our competitors. He/she will maintain the testing facility, obtain samples and maintain quality systems. Essential Responsibilities Percent Of Responsibilities Responsibility % Of Time Prepare and evaluate products for quality, condition and adherence to product specifications and determine if company standards are met. Obtain samples for product monitoring. 25% Perform sensory analyses using standardized laboratory methods to assess and ensure product performance. 25% Ensure the accurate and timely completion of quality documentation and maintain ownership of assigned quality records to support compliance with established requirements. 15% Review Fresh Labels and ensure adherence to regulatory and company requirements. 15% Maintain test facility and laboratory testing equipment. 10% Provide support for quality control projects and strategic program initiatives to drive quality excellence and continuous improvement. 10% Disclaimer Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education Course of Study Bachelor's Degree or 4 years relevant experience Science Degree Preferred Education Course of Study Bachelor's Degree Science Degree Relevant Experience Supervisory Experience 0 -3 yrs minimum No Supervisory Experience Language(s) Required Language(s) Preferred English English and Spanish Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Associates degree and one (1) year of experience in a food related field Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. Ability to understand and follow English instructions. Proficient in excel Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred Manufacturing experience in Quality Control Lab experience Nutritional and Labeling review experience
