Job Description
The Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.
Summary The Field Technician supports Simplot Grower Solutions' mission of helping growers achieve success by providing operational, technical, and field support services. This role performs a variety of hands-on agronomic and operational activities, including soil and plant sampling, field scouting, inventory management, equipment operation and maintenance, product application support, and data collection. The Field Technician works closely with Crop Advisors, Operations employees, and customers to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate execution of agronomic programs while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting overall location success.
Key Responsibilities Participating in and making sales calls to new and existing customers.
