Pay based on experience - $16.00-$18.00 per hour. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all employees and customers. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks. Food manufacturing experience preferred. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and tools in accordance with company standards. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks to maintain hygiene in food production and processing environments. Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively. Follow established sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist in the organization and maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment. Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and cleanliness across the facility. Experience Previous experience in cleaning or sanitation roles is preferred, particularly in industrial or commercial settings. Familiarity with food production or processing environments is a plus. Janitorial or custodial experience is beneficial for understanding sanitation practices. Warehouse experience may be advantageous for navigating large facilities. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during cleaning tasks. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is essential.
