We're looking for an experienced Foodservice Equipment Specialist to join our growing team and help restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hospitality businesses, and commercial customers throughout Iowa. Based in Central Iowa , you'll serve customers across the state while representing a well-established, locally owned company that has been helping businesses succeed for generations. What You'll Do As our Foodservice Equipment Specialist, you'll become the trusted advisor for customers planning new kitchens, remodels, equipment replacements, and operational improvements. You'll work alongside our experienced sales, design, and service teams to deliver complete equipment solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and grow relationships with restaurants, hospitality, education, healthcare, and commercial customers throughout Iowa. Recommend commercial foodservice equipment solutions based on customer needs and budgets. Prepare equipment quotations and proposals. Collaborate with manufacturers, consultants, contractors, architects, and internal team members. Assist customers with kitchen layouts, equipment specifications, and project coordination. Stay current on new equipment technologies and industry trends. Manage projects from initial consultation through installation and follow-up. Travel throughout Iowa with minimal overnight travel . Qualifications 2-5 years of commercial foodservice equipment experience required Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and applications Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities Experience reading kitchen plans or working with equipment layouts is a plus Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout
Iowa Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$75,000-$85,000
Performance Bonus/Commission Program Total Compensation Potential:
