Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Concession Stand Worker and become the heart of the guest experience at our vibrant entertainment venue. In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional food service, manage transactions efficiently, and ensure our concession area operates smoothly and safely. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable moments for visitors while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry this posting is a on demand job with events ranging in start times/days with guaranteed enployment in the spring/summer next year Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of concession foods, including snacks, beverages, and quick-service items, following established recipes and safety guidelines Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the concession area, including food handling, bussing, and equipment sanitation Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness throughout shifts Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for efficient sales processing Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations within the food industry Experience in cashiering, upselling techniques, and retail math is a plus Previous restaurant or café experience is highly desirable for success in this role
