In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and related equipment. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of essential climate control and refrigeration systems in commercial. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced, energetic setting where proactive problem-solving and field service excellence are highly valued. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems and HVAC/R equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Install new refrigeration units, HVAC systems, boilers, and related mechanical equipment following schematics and HVAC design specifications. Conduct routine maintenance on air conditioning units, plumbing connections, boilers, and other mechanical components to prevent system failures. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Perform brazing, equipment repair, and mechanical adjustments using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices. Maintain accurate service records, logs of repairs performed, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections. Support property maintenance tasks including appliance repair, plumbing work, welding projects, and general mechanical repairs as needed. Operate a vehicle safely for field service visits to client sites or property locations. Collaborate with team members on HVAC design improvements or upgrades to optimize system performance. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to refrigerants like ammonia and other hazardous materials while adhering to environmental regulations. Experience Proven service technician experience with refrigeration systems, HVAC/R equipment, or property maintenance roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair—including boilers, pumps, and air conditioning units. Familiarity with construction practices related to installing or upgrading HVAC systems or refrigeration infrastructure. Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues. Experience working in field service environments with a focus on appliance repair or property maintenance tasks.
