can help us shape the future of dairy From your PASSION to ours Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Sanitation Operator I based in Nampa, ID. Requirements The Sanitation Operator I works independently to disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment to meet strict food safety standards. This role is responsible for safely handling sanitation chemicals, verifying cleaning effectiveness, and ensuring all assigned areas are fully sanitized to prevent contamination and support safe food production. From your
EXPERTISE
to ours Key responsibilities for this position include:
  • Meet efficiency budget levels with maintaining a high-quality product.
. Operate shredder machinery to shred cheese efficiently and effectively. . Monitor the shredding process to maintain optimal speed and quality standards. . Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reworking/recorking cheese, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. . Communicate any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution. . Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities reworked/recorked and any quality issues encountered . Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Take immediate corrective action for any product that does not meet quality or product specifications.
  • Contribute to continual process improvement and increased performance.
  • Participate in internal/external audits and maintain
ISO22000/ISO9001/HACCP

  • High School Diploma/General Education Degree preferred. Experience
  • Previous employment in a food industry/manufacturing setting is preferred. . Basic understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
  • Frequently required to lift up to 40 LB.
