Sanitation for the 3rd Shift 10 PM - Finish Addison, IL area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Employees will clean and disinfect the production area, ovens, freezers/coolers for the next incoming morning shift. This includes anywhere from washing racks, cleaning/ disinfecting conveyor belt lines, scrubbing & squeegeeing floors, disposing garbage and other waste to its appropriate areas. Employees will use chemicals for cleaning and disinfecting Assemble and take apart designated machines Operate cleaning and disinfecting equipment Employees will be using pressure hoses for certain areas. Before completing shift, sanitation employees will do a walkthrough with QA to make sure area was properly cleaned & disinfected. Monitor processes to ensure product compliance Monitor the operation and make equipment adjustments as needed Comply with food safety and quality assurance standards (GMP, SSOP, HACCP, SQF, etc.) Follow all Safety Guidelines and Chemical Training Guidelines. Keep work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards, report faulty equipment and hazards to management Responsible to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment Collaborate with Maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and prevent machine failures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Disposition to Operate cleaning and disinfecting equipment Ability to lift 60 lbs General understanding of machine operation in manufacturing environment Attention to detail and quality a must Acceptable coordination, including eye-hand, balance; dexterity of hands and fingers with repetition Must be able to work in a fast-paced meat processing environment Must be able and willing to work overtime and weekends High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required

Working Conditions:

Comfortable to work in cold and loud environment as this job requires to work in plant setting environment. The position requires the physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending, the physical strength to lift and carry 60 pounds frequently, physical ability to stand for long hours, to do repetitive work, good visual acuity and ability to work long hours and weekends when needed.
