Quality Assurance Technician Reports To:
Quality Assurance Supervisor/General Manager Job Description:
Objective:
A quality assurance technician's primary responsibly is to assure that all products are produced in accordance with good manufacturing practices, meeting all company, local, state, and federal regulations
Job Function:
Perform testing on bulk and bagged ingredients.
Food Safety Function:
Verify raw and finished product meets specification Understand all laboratory procedures Report any off odors, insects, and rodent activities Compliance of GMPs and the food safety plan
Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to read and write English. Strong skill set in Microsoft Excel and Word. Maintain a professional attitude. Dependable. The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in concerns of employees and financial files. The ability to multi-task and prioritize. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Effective listening skills. Team building skills. Effective decision making and problem solving skills This is a general list of this position's duties and responsibilities. May be asked to assist in other departments as needed. Other duties as assigned.
