Starting pay is up to $27.60/hour, plus a $5.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift, with growth potential up to $39.28/hour plus shift premium. You'll work with modern manufacturing equipment, automation, robotics, and a supportive Maintenance and Engineering team that values problem solving, safety, and continuous improvement. AmeriQual Foods, an Evansville, IN based food manufacturing facility, is hiring 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift Maintenance Technicians to support the repair, reliability, and preventative maintenance of food manufacturing equipment. If you enjoy troubleshooting, working hands-on with equipment, and being part of a team that keeps operations running strong, this could be the opportunity for you. What You'll Do Assist on new equipment installation, working professionally with manufacturing representatives, Engineering team, and other cross functional department team members. Diagnose equipment malfunctions utilizing inspection, operation and testing of equipment for diagnostic purposes. Provide support for root cause analysis to create corrective actions to prevent repeat issues. Perform equipment calibrations and preventive maintenance including, but not limited to lubrication and frequency-based tasks. Understand and adhere to all safety guidelines and GMPs. Understand when to contact manufacturers' service technicians for assistance with repair or replacement of faulty equipment. Update computerized maintenance system with accurate and timely information related to work performed. Exhibit a sense of urgency around work order completion and documentation of work performed; must be comfortable quickly escalating and communicating equipment issues to others for additional support and resources. Use CI Tools such as 5 Why for root cause analysis and problem solving. What We're Looking For Successful candidates will have a 2-year degree in Industrial Maintenance or two plus years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical abilities and troubleshooting aptitude required; Electrical experience strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team. Professional, can-do mentality Thorough working knowledge of all current OSHA and Safety Standards Ability to multitask and prioritize; strong time management skills with the ability to work independently without extensive supervision.
