Job Description

We are seeking an Agronomy Sales Representative to join our team! You will be responsible for helping build and maintain relationships with customers. Sales Representatives are tasked with building personal connections with customers to help identify agronomic solutions and offer high-quality products to enhance crop performance, increase productivity, and maximize their return on investment. Our team also seeks out new business to help us grow and expand into new markets to ensure we continue to remain a leader as one of the area's foremost agronomy solutions providers. Primary responsibilities The employee's primary responsibility will be sales performance and customer service directly related to supporting the management or general business operations of Kaup customers. This also includes having professional conduct and being a leader with all other company employees. Duties Present product information to customers on seed, chemical, fertilizer, moisture probes, precision application options, and other soil-related products Perform sales calls on regular or prospective customers to drive new business Stay updated on new product and application procedures Answer questions concerning products such as price, credit terms, and durability Schedule aerial and helicopter application Demonstrate products and provide essential information (i.e. product availability, price, new developments, and market trends) Complete sales contracts and forms to record required sales information and collect receivables in a timely manner Maintain a high level of technical expertise and strive to achieve sales goals Reliable and regular attendance is expected Education and experience Bachelor's degree in agriculture or associate's degree with experience Sales experience, especially agriculture sales experience, is highly preferred Other skills that will help you succeed Excellent communication skills Commercial Applicators License and Certified Crop Advisor License is preferred Working knowledge of agricultural precision information technology is preferred
